Most people have unwanted hair. Regularly removing it at home can be messy, time-consuming, and burdensome. That’s why long-term hair removal treatments have become the go-to solution for patients who are tired of relying on shaving, waxing, plucking, and using depilatory creams. In fact, long-lasting hair removal treatments continue to rank as one of the most popular non-surgical cosmetic procedures, even among men. In the U.S. in 2015 alone, there were over a million treatments performed, which is a 37% increase from the previous year, according to the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS).
Venus Concept is transforming hair removal by using advanced technology to permanently reduce unwanted hair on the face and body. You can finally enjoy smooth, hair-free skin with results that last longer than traditional methods.
Laser treatments can be done on darker skin tones, even tanned skin, using different settings, as there is a higher risk of discoloration (since darker skin has more pigment in it).
Treatments are done 4-8 weeks apart.
Make sure your skin is clean and shaved. Do not apply any lotions, creams, or makeup (if you’re getting a treatment on your face) before your session, and stop using any products that might irritate your skin 2-3 days before. Remove all jewelry around the area being treated.
